The Wauconda Lions Club today (December 17, 2009) donated $10,000 to the Wauconda Park District toward the renovation of two baseball fields off of Garland Road. Lions Club president, Tom Malik, tendered the check to Nancy Burton, Director of Parks and Recreation. Malik said that the Wauconda Lions Club is committed to local youth programs. A re-dedication ceremony will be scheduled for the Spring, 2010. |

We really enjoyed interacting with all of the visitors to the expo and one of the best parts was we took second place in booth design. How great was that!!! |
